On Thursday February 20th, the City of Forest Hills Board of Commissioners honored Planning Commission Chairman David Waller for his long service with the city.
David recently stepped down as Chairman after several decades of service and was presented with a resolution and a plaque from the city as a small token of appreciation. Long serving Planning Commission member Clay Jackson was appointed as the new Chairman as David's replacement by the Board of Commissioners. Several other members and friends attended the meeting to help congratulate David for all his hard work and dedication to the city. A reception was held directly after the meeting to continue the celebration.
David also serves as an alternate member for the City's Board of Zoning Appeals and will continue to do so.
Congratulations again to David for so many distinguished years of service with the city.
Below are a few pictures from the presentation on Thursday.
