We are expecting some very cold weather this weekend with the possibility of ice accumulation and light snow. Right now, we are not expecting a major event, but there are several uncertainties with this weather front. Since we have several elevated and sloped areas in our city that can be 10 degrees colder than most areas, our crews will be out this weekend applying salt to our priority roadways as listed on our website at Snow Removal and Salting | City of Forest Hills, then monitoring the rest of the city for additional applications to keep our residents as safe as possible.
