We are expecting a large amount of rain at the end of the week. Please make preparations to your property to make sure it can adequately handle the rainfall without causing any issues or damage to property.
Tips in preparing:
Make sure all gutters and downspouts are clear from debris.
Clear all drainage ditches.
Clear all driveway culverts from foreign debris such as leaves, branches, etc.
Clear any inlets out outlets on your property.
Make sure all lose items are secure.
Make sure all stormwater measures are in working order.
Once Francine makes landfall, its remnants will impact Middle TN starting Thursday. Thursday through Friday will have the highest chance for heavy rain and flooding as well as a low-end tornado threat, especially for areas along and west of I-65. This forecast is highly dependent on Francine's eventual track so be sure to stay tuned for forecast updates this week!
