Pat Nolan

The City of Forest Hills’ Cultural and Natural Resources Committee is hosting a lecture series to educate community residents about our city. Local political analyst Pat Nolan will speak on the state of the upcoming election Tuesday, October 29 at the Forest Hills City Hall.

“We’re excited to have Pat Nolan share his political insights with our neighbors regarding the upcoming election. Our community is eager for information from a local analyst who understands our concerns and vision for the future of our neighborhood and beyond,” said Susan Andrews, chair of the Cultural and Natural Resources Committee of the City of Forest Hills. “We hope to inspire our residents to learn more about the political climate and our choices in the upcoming election.”

Nolan is recognized as one of the state’s leading political analysts. For more than three decades, he served as the on-air political analyst for WTVF-TV, NewsChannel5 in Nashville. He hosts a weekly interview program, Inside Politics which airs every weekend on the NewsChannel5 Plus cable network.

Nolan began his career as a reporter at WPLN-FM in 1973 until he joined WTVF-TV in 1975 where he worked until 1985. He also spent nearly two decades as anchor/announcer for the live TV coverage of the twice monthly Metro Council meetings from 1973 – 1975 and 2019 – 2023.

The lecture is free and open to the public. The event will be held at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 29 at the Forest Hills City Hall at 6300 Hillsboro Pike.
