Modifications to the current zoning ordinances were finalized on Thursday 6-20-2024 at the monthly Board of Commissioners meeting. Each change to the city's zoning ordinance must go through the City's Planning Commission for recommendation to the Board of Commissioners. Once the recommendation is passed, the changes must go through two separate readings with the Board of Commissioners before they are finalized. At the June 20th, 2024, monthly meeting, the Board of Commissioners finalized the ordinance revisions and deemed the changes reasonable and in the best interest of the city and its residents where they voted unanimously for the changes.
These changes are effective as of June 20th, 2024, and will be pending codification to update the current zoning ordinance. The changes are listed in the link below for reference.
