Concrete work

Metro Nashville Public School has a scheduled early Friday morning concrete slab pour for the new Percy Priest Elementary School.

Exemption to construction hours and special permits are given by Metro Nashville when there are special circumstances that exist with commercial builds. Public school sites that are in Davidson County fall under the jurisdiction of Metro Nashville Public School Board which partner with local jurisdictions to make sure projects operate as smoothly as possible while sites are under construction.

Exemptions to the normal construction hours are given to cover very large concrete pours that must be done in a timely manner to avoid large construction delays. These factors include time limitations, site set up, transportation scheduling, material availability, traffic, weather, and other logistics.

Crews are advising they will be arriving on site at approx. 3:00am Friday morning (6-21-24) to set up for the concrete pour that will take approx. 12-14 hours to complete. We apologize for any inconvenience and will put out notifications for any future events that may occur.
