Just to give everyone an update on possible severe weather this afternoon. I have attached an update from the National Weather Service and their link to keep you up to date on the storms rolling in this afternoon into this evening. These storms are expecting to have potential high winds with excessive rainfalls in a very short amount of time. Please take the following steps to make sure you take the necessary precautions.
- Make sure you have emergency supplies on standby in case of a power outage (batteries on cell phones charged, backup power supplies, flashlights, etc.)
- A safe place to go in a central location of your house.
- Secure all loose items around your outside areas.
- Park your vehicles inside you garage if possible.
- Clear all your drainage ditches and culverts to make sure the flow of stormwater is unobstructed.
