Several City residents recently have inquired about the pickup of deceased animals on their property. The City of Forest Hills does not provide services for dead animal removal and relies solely on Metro Nashville to provide county services to our residents. For Metro Nashville to conduct pickup, you must live on a public roadway that is currently maintained by Metro Nashville. If you are in a gated community or HOA, Metro Nashville does not offer these services. The deceased animal must be on the public roadway or in the right of way. If the animal is on your property, workers are unable to go on private property to pick it up. You must call a private company for pickup and disposal:
