Metro Nashville has received contractor bids for the new Percy Priest School and currently going through the selection process. The $42 million project is scheduled to start in the very near future to stay on schedule for the project. The existing school will be demolished, and a larger replacement will be built on the site. The project, with multiple phases of simultaneous demolition and construction, is expected to be completed in the fall of 2025. The new building will hold 743 students in Pre-K through fifth grade. The renovation is a response to the 12% population growth in the surrounding district from 2010 to 2020.
